FUN FUN FUN!

Well we have been having a BLAST on Wednesday nights!! anywhere from 25-35 kiddos! The teens and tweens are performing amazing Bible Story Skits for our lesson!

SONSURF Beach Bash - Day 1! "Meet Up with Jesus!"

Tonight was the first night of SONSURF Beach Bash during Wednesday Night Whacky Worship!!! 

And it was definitely a HIT!! We had 25 kids there tonight! That's a record for us! ;O)

I totally forgot to bring my camera...an "epic" (using beach bash language, lol) 

mistake! So the only pics I could get was during our outside time. This was the kids playing "Sharks & Seals"!

They Jr. High kids did the bible lesson in skit format for us tonight and they are already planning out next weeks lesson...also in interactive/skit format! AWESOME!!!!!!!!

We watched Day One of the "Beach Challenge" video (like Chadder) and each day there is also a video with "Dr. Cool" about the animal that is representing the topic for that day!"

It was FUN FUN FUN all the way around!

I am so excited for next week...I have already heard of 5 more kids coming next week! WOW!

BEACH DAY CANCELLED :(((((

Due to Tropical Storm Emily, we have to cancel beach day :(((

BEACH DAY! THIS SATURDAY!

 

C'mon!! We're going to THE BEACH!!! 

WHEN: This Saturday, August 6th. Carpooling from SLCC at 9:00 AM

WHERE: Mary McCleod Bethune Beach in New Smyrna Beach.

TO DO: Bring a sack lunch and lots of sunscreen!

(Drinks will be provided.)

*Parents welcome but not necessary unless your child cannot swim.

Wednesday Night Whacky Worship-SONSURF!

While VBS is officially over, many of our students and helpers have asked that we make VBS go ALL year long! While we can't "technically" do that--we ARE listening! We are going to try going through the lesson (Bible Adventures) and skits of a variety of VBS curriculum over the next few months....To kick it off! SONSURF!! The next 5 weeks will be spent learning gnarly things in a fun and interactive way about our awesome God!

JOIN US WEDNESDAY NIGHTS FROM 7-8PM for a surfin' good time!

(Don't worry!! We will still do our whacky and fun games like hide n go seek in the dark & dodge ball too!!)
